BEIJING (Reuters) - The president of China, Xi Jinping, and the US president, Barack Obama, agreed during phone call on Friday that the two countries will maintain cooperation on climate change, told Chinese state television.
Both presidents said they would work closely for the success of the UN climate conference in Paris, according to CCTV.
Negotiators from 195 countries are trying to enter into an agreement at the summit from Paris to slow climate change to the global economy away from dependence on fossil fuels.
