The limited edition fragrance from the Versailles Palace and Guerlain

In collaboration with Guerlain, one of the oldest perfumeries Paris, the Palace of Versailles launched the Le Bouquet de la Reine ("the bouquet Queen" in free translation), a limited edition of unique fragrance that captures all the opulence of palace, as well as his constant rebirth through the centuries in its essence and in its bottle handmade. The profits will be used to renovate the iconic palace, which is one of the most visited tourist sites in France.

Revealed last week in Paris, the Guerlain store on the Champs Elysees, the perfume is officially on sale. For € 550, buyers will only have until May 17 to order a bottle of rare fragrance that carries all the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles, wrapped in luxury and gold.

The fragrance refers to the essences of the gardens of Versailles. Designed by Thierry Wasser, perfumer Guerlain since 2008, Le Bouquet de la Reine was inspired by Marie Antoinette, whose favorite flower is the jasmine. Wasser also added notes of bergamot, lily, amber and white musk that unite in a distinct and uplifting feminine creation.

"The Guerlain and the Palace of Versailles share and defend the same vision in terms of tradition and culture," said Laurent Boillot, CEO of Guerlain. "The invitation of Catherine Pégard to collaborate excited me right away. Contribute to restoring parts of the castle for the glory and splendor that used to have through the French experience of Guerlain was more than obvious, it was a conviction. "

A work of art that demonstrates the elegance and knowledge of France, the beautiful bottle is designed to resemble a precious stone. For the occasion, the Guerlain brought back his Quadrilobe bottle, originally created in 1908 for the iconic fragrance Rue de la Paix.

Made entirely by the hands of craftsmen glaziers of Verreries Brosse company in northern France, the logo in 23-carat gold star format was made by exclusive designer accessories in the historic Maison Desrues.
