The day after Christmas, Tom Brady set some time aside before traveling to New York to play the Jets for a fantastic reason. He had sent a video to a young girl named Hailey, who is fighting Leukemia for the second time at a hospital in Portland, Maine, and invited her to Foxborough.
The superstar quarterback smiles and says:
“Hi Hailey, Merry Christmas, it’s Tom Brady … I was hoping you’d be willing to come down here this Saturday before we leave for New York, so maybe you can ask your mom and dad if that’s what you could have for Christmas. Hopefully you can make it, and I look forward to meeting you.”
On Saturday, Hailey was able to go hang out with Brady. The two even shared a hug.

We are finally home and so very tired!
I'm grateful for all that happened today! The reason I posted Tom Brady's video is because I wanted people who tried o hard to get today to happen did! It was really hard keeping it secret because it was all of you who made this possible. The other thing is Tom Brady is more amazing in person then just on the field he took time out during a stressful time of year to make a little girl happy he didn't have to! But he did I have more respect and will be a true faithful fan of his then ever before! I truly pray for our team to kick some butt tomorrow! Tom Brady you aren't just a QB you truly are a man who cares so much for all of us💛🎗🙏🏻. Please remember children with cancer deserves to be happy and to be noticed! And they deserve a cure🎗😘🎗🎗 |
