Residents of British neighborhood live 'days of terror' to the sound of children's song

The song, much like those played in horror movies, scared the residents of a British neighborhood for more than a year. The origin of the song has finally been discovered.

A horror film story was produced in Ipswich, a town located in Suffolk County in the United Kingdom. For more than a year, the outskirts of the city were awakened at night by a scary children's song that nobody knew where it came from, playing endlessly.

The sinister song "It's Raining, It's Pouring," tells the story of an old man who was hit in the head and can not wake up. The song was played during the nights, some nights it was played only once, but in others - again and again for several hours, The Independent reports.

"It looked like the song was being sung by a child," said Alice Randle, a resident of the area, who was "very upset" about this situation, claiming "people said they were something like Freddie Krueger."

Alice lost her temper and reported the case to city officials, who traced the origin of the song to find its location, finding that the song was actually an alarm from a store, used to ward off potential thieves, being activated by spiders that roamed motion sensors.

In this situation, store owners found that the alarm volume was too high and subsequently ensured that the volume was set so that the case did not recur.
