Woody Allen, Congratulations on 80 years!




Woody Allen, stage name of Allan Stewart Konigsberg, (New York, December 1, 1935) is a film director, screenwriter, writer, actor and American musician.


Allen worked as a comedy writer in the 1950s, writing jokes and scripts for television and publishing several books of short humor pieces. In the early 1960s, Allen began to act as stand-up comedian, emphasizing monologues rather than traditional jokes. In his films, he developed the personality of an intellectual, neurotic, nebbish, restless and insecure, he insists that is quite different from his personality in real life.
