Used by Black Sabbath, Oasis, Stereophonics and many other musicians, the Yamaha C3 grand piano was put up for auction on eBay. The instrument belonged since the late 1980s to the famous Monnow Valley recording studio, located in Wales.
In the product description on the auction site, the owner says, "We are selling our grand piano as they reached the end of his life as a recording instrument." The instrument can not be used professionally, but that is perfectly good for home use or even for learning, needing only a reform.
The starting price of the piano was £ 1,000 and is already £ 8,000 after 46 bids.
