North Korea compares Donald Trump to Hitler
In an editorial of the KCNA state agency, Trump's 'America First' slogan is seen as a form of '21st-century Nazism'.
North Korea compared US President Donald Trump to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in an editorial at state agency KCNA.
The president's policy is a form of "21st-century Nazism," says KCNA's editorial criticizing Trump's "America First" slogan.
"The principle America first defends world domination by military means, as was the case with the concept of world occupation of Hitler," wrote the North Korean agency.
Trump follows "Hitler's dictatorial policy" to divide the others into two categories, "friends and foes," to justify the "suppression" of the latter, he adds.
North Korea has a habit of offending its enemies. Last week, Pyongyang called Trump a "psychopath" in a context of tension over the death of American student Otto Warmbier, who had returned to the United States in a coma after spending a few years in a North Korean prison.
In 2014, the KCNA agency called then-US President Barack Obama a "mongrel-blooded bastard" with a "monkey appearance."
Earlier, North Korea compared former South Korean President Park Geun-Hye to a "prostitute."
