NY Times: Trump participated in a scheme of tax fraud and lied about source of fortune
US President Donald Trump was involved in tax schemes that included fraud cases, The New York Times reported, citing more than 200 tax returns to which the newspaper had access.
According to the vehicle, Trump and his brothers helped their parents avoid taxation. In a lengthy report posted on the newspaper's website, the NYT begins the text by questioning the president's ability to be "a master negotiator who has transformed a $ 1 million loan from his father into a $ 10 billion empire."
The paper shows that since the age of three, Trump received the equivalent of $ 200,000 every year. At the age of 8, the president was already a millionaire and at age 17, he won 52 of his father's gift. In all, Donald took $ 413 million of his father's fortune as an inheritance.
The text also mentions a meticulous account makeup scheme and tax fraud. Donald Trump's team called the report "inaccurate." The president has not yet appeared on Twitter.
