Washington - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump went further in their efforts to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the American election, saying on Twitter on Sunday that he believes the results are being "defrauded" in many polling stations.
His tweet came hours after his deputy on the plate, Mike Pence, saying that Republicans will accept the outcome of the vote on November 8 between Trump and his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.
"The election is certainly being defrauded by dishonest and distorted media is pushing Hillary trickster also --but in many votação-- local SAD", Trump tweeted the latest in a series of comments that have done in recent days questioning election integrity.
Trump, who is behind Clinton in the polls, did not provide any evidence to support their allegations of problems at the polls. The early ballot by mail has started in many states of the country.
