European Union warns UK: 'Do not use Ireland as a bargaining chip in Brexit'

The EU is concerned that the Irish peace process can be used by the UK as a bargaining chip in the Brexit negotiations.

The European Union on Friday criticized the UK document on the post-Brexit border with Ireland. The bloc has warned against using the peace process in Northern Ireland as a "bargain" in negotiations on the withdrawal of the EU kingdom.
