What is the biggest billboard in the world?

At 250 m in length and 12 m wide, the largest billboard on the globe is on the banks of the access road to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. It has 3,000 m2 of area, the equivalent of a soccer field, and took three months to be ridden.

The piece features an announcement of the LG's G3 mobile phone from South Korean electronics maker LG and was designed to withstand the strong winds of the Saudi desert. The gigantism of the billboard, weighing 1,800 tons, was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records in September 2014.

LG believes the ad will generate additional revenue of $ 25 million to its cashier. Around 20 million passengers a year use the Riyadh Airport, one of the main Middle East airports.

NISSAN AND USAIN BOLT

To unveil its global campaign What if, Japanese carmaker Nissan has hired Jamaican star Usain Bolt and spread light plates at various airports around the world.

The panel image suggested a dispute between the hall and one of the brand's cars.

The piece installed at the Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates was exaggerated: it was 28 m long by 6 m high, totaling 174 m2. Illuminated by 183,000 LED bulbs, it was nominated by Guinness in 2013 as the largest of its kind.

Google in the big apple

A piece as huge as the LG billboard was set up in Times Square at the end of 2014. At 23 meters high and 100 meters wide (2,300 square meters), it occupied the entire facade of the Marriott Marquis Hotel, between 45th and 46. Google was the first advertiser to rent space, and paid $ 2.5 million per month. About 300,000 people pass through Times Square every day.
