Atheists tend to be more psychopaths - religious and less clever

Everything in life has two sides. And it could not be different when it involves religion and atheism - even from the perspective of science.

A new American research has revealed that atheists tend to have psychopathic traits than religious. Lack of belief in a higher being is usually something more manipulative and less empathic people - that does not make them terrible people or worse than the others, as we have shown here.

On the other hand ... the religious tend to be less intelligent. Accept some rational theories about the world can be an indication of that.

These differences between the two groups relate to brain function. When the researchers scanned volunteers realized that the brain activates two different areas for thought - one involved with critical and analytical thinking and a more connected to social and emotional part. It is as if these two regions to enter a dispute space and domain - then one of them stands out.

Among atheists, reason wins the battle. They end up acting in a more selfish way, as do psychopaths. The emotional and social side dominates the religious - and turns them into people a little more empathic.
