London - The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the UK has grown more than originally estimated in the fourth quarter of last year, according to a review published today by the Office for National Statistics (ONS, its acronym in English) of the country.
In the last quarter of 2015, UK GDP grew by 0.6% from the previous three months and increased 2.1% on year, according to the ONS.
The figures exceeded expectations of economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires and also came up preliminary estimates, which were high 0.5% QoQ and 1.9% in the annual comparison in both cases.
