NASA has posted on its official website the wave of "planetary defense officer" promising a good salary to defend other planets of terrestrial biological material and vice versa.
According to the information on the site, the potential defender of planets will receive up to $ 187,000 per year.
Among the specialist's obligations are to direct planetary defense and ensure its realization within the space missions of NASA.
In particular, tasks are mentioned when organisms and Earth's organic material can be taken "by chance or purpose" to other planets, in addition to missions that provide for the return of spacecraft to Earth with samples of extraterrestrial materials on board.
An ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience working in a public institution in a high position, know everything that has to do with planetary defense, have enough engineering experience and be ready to travel on constant missions.
In addition, the perfect advocate must have diplomatic skills and be able to make good decisions for all after multilateral discussions.
According to the Business Insider, only NASA and the European Space Agency offer such full-time employment.
