President of the United States Donald Trump signed the package of anti-union sanctions, Bloomberg reports, quoting a White House official.

A White House representative confirmed that Donald Trump had signed the bill to become law.

The US Senate passed a law on new sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea last Thursday (27). Earlier, the House of

Representatives approved the document by absolute majority of votes.

Measures passed include new sanctions against senior Russian officials because of alleged interference by Moscow in the 2016 elections.

As for Iran and North Korea, punitive measures are directed against the arms programs of these two countries.

Earlier, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders announced the US president's intention to sign the bill.
