One of the top names in MMA, Jon Jones pleaded guilty to flee the scene of a traffic accident in April. The penalty of US fighter is 18 months probation in a court in New Mexico, USA. Former UFC champion also have to meet 72 visits to children's groups to give lectures.
"I'm here to take full responsibility for what happened and for my actions. I hope you can give me a chance to redeem myself," said Jon Jones to court.
In April, Jon Jones was involved in a car accident - the vehicle was rented for him. At the time, the fighter fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim, a pregnant woman. The controversy, the former champion was suspended by the UFC.
