These 12 photographs from space will make you rethink our place on Earth
THESE incredible images give you a completely different perspective on the impact man has had on the planet.
They were compiled by a satellite artist called Benjamin Grant who was originally working on the Maps app for Apple.
While searching using the keyword "Earth" he ended up on the town of Earth in Texas and was blown away by the irrigation circles created around the town.
He started searching the globe to find some amazing examples of human impact on the world for his website Daily Overview and has even made a book available of the best pictures. It’s available here.
