Without a will, 40% of the assets of Prince will turn tax

Prince

Without a doubt, the Prince's death came as a shock to everyone. But another factoris even more controversial: there is no legal document on file, Prince died without even having a will.

Despite not having a spouse or children, Prince had five half brothers and a sister, Tyka Nelson, of 55 years, who confirmed to the press the ignorance of the existence of any document type.

Even if the net worth of the artist has not yet been released, the State of Minnesotaprovides that all half-siblings are treated in the same way as the brothers. Certainly the numbers beyond the hundreds of millions, which means that about 40% will be directed only to taxes.

Little is known about the wills of Prince, when he died. But it is clear that this information would not be the solution to everything. Some people may even criticize the star for not having the necessary planning, since it was an artist known and recognized worldwide.

In fact, the fiscal point of view doesn't matter. Current laws in the region won't allow Prince donated, alive or dead, about $ 6 million to someone with will or not. If the receiver were a charity, also there would be a facilitator. Regardless of anything, 40%of the assets of Prince will be transferred to the State. For every million dollar transferred to half-brothers of the artist, about $ 400,000 will be taxes and that would not change if there was a will.
