Tokyo - A 15 year old girl missing in 2014 managed to escape from her kidnapper who held her and watched for two years in his apartment in Tokyo, reported Monday Japanese media.
According to the girl's account, the kidnapper, 23, left the apartment where he lived with the girl without lock, when the young woman took the opportunity to go outside and call his family. It was the very mother of the girl who, after answering a call on Sunday asked to call immediately to the police, who found in the vicinity of a nearby subway station to the place in which remained stuck.
Police arrested the alleged kidnapper, Kabu Terauchi in the city of Ito, about 130 kilometers from Tokyo, as she wandered the bloodied street after having been injured in the neck, detailed the Japanese public television, "NHK". Terauchi is admitted to a hospital and then will be available to the court, informed the news agency "Kyodo".
The teenager, who was 13 when she disappeared, was last seen on March 10, 2014 as she spoke with a man in front of his house.
According to Japanese authorities, the accused concluded the kidnapping deceiving young as he approached the door of his house and said her parents were divorcing and he was the lawyer, asking to get in your car. Later, a ticket made by the youth in their family home mailbox in which he asked not to look was found, although police have requested then aid to citizens.
Since then, the young man was arrested first in an apartment in Chiba (east of Tokyo) and then another in the center of Nakano district. Japanese officials believe that the young woman was trapped in this location most of the kidnapping, which lasted for two years, although it has also leaked information that sometimes left the guarded street by her captor. The kidnapper, in turn, graduated this month in engineering from the University of Chiba and would start working soon, said the educational center. Besides, he had obtained a permit to fly in a flight school in California (United States).
After being found, the teenager, who still carried with your student card, underwent a medical review and later reunited with his family. "I'm really relieved. I enjoy time with my daughter and recover the time lost," said the father of the minor in a statement sent to media outlets.
