Tokyo - A 15 year old girl missing in 2014 managed to escape from her kidnapper who held her and watched for two years in his apartment in Tokyo, reported Monday Japanese media.

According to the girl's account, the kidnapper, 23, left the apartment where he lived with the girl without lock, when the young woman took the opportunity to go outside and call his family. The kidnapper, in turn, graduated this month in engineering from the University of Chiba and would start working soon, said the educational center. Besides, he had obtained a permit to fly in a flight school in California (United States).
