Michael J. Fox is losing the battle against Parkinson's disease: report

star of the film 'Back to the Future' is in critical condition

United States - The state of health of Michael J. Fox, 54, is getting worse because of Parkinson's disease. According to a source the newspaper "Daily Express", the actor - who starred in the trilogy "Back to the Future" - is still trying to keep their professional commitments, but the disease "is already taking care of your body."

Michael J. Fox was diagnosed in 1991. However, it only publicly announced who suffered from Parkinson's disease in 1999 after undergoing brain surgery to control tremors.

"It's heartbreaking. Michael's courage knows no bounds, but the disease is taking care of your body and even he is realizing that it is a losing battle," a source told the newspaper. "Michael sees every day as a gift and an opportunity to help others who suffer from the problem," continued the source.

In an interview with David Letterman in April last year, Michael said what he felt when he received the diagnosis. "It was pretty scary. I was 29 and it was the last thing I expected to hear. The doctor said 'You have Parkinson's disease. The good news is that you still have 10 years to keep working." This happened 22 years ago and I keep working".
