Hillary dominates competition for support and donations from Hollywood
Hillary Clinton: Clinton's support in Hollywood has to do with the strong ties that her husband graduated from his first presidential campaign
Los Angeles - The views of Democratic candidate for president Bernie Sanders on free education and against big banks would not look out of place in the speech of an actor to accept the Oscar.
However, in Hollywood, of liberal reputation, long used as ATM Democratic campaigns, Sanders message does not sound as high as in other progressive bastions.

The more moderate Hillary Clinton has left far behind the senator from Vermont in the activity of raising resources and has an extensive list of big stars and top executives among its supporters.
Celebrities do not change votes, but they can persuade people to hear the candidate's message, said historian Steven Ross, author of "Hollywood Left and Right: How Movie Stars Shaped American Politics."
"Put a candidate on the radar," he said.
Hollywood actors, studio executives and other professionals in the film industry, TV and music have donated at least 8.4 million dollars to the Clinton campaign and the Priorities USA Action, the independent Super PAC that supports the design of it, according to an analysis by Reuters on campaign finance until 31 March. Events to raise funds for Hillary organized by actor George Clooney this month, with tickets costing up to $ 353,000 per couple, are not included in this total, but according to the website Deadline Hollywood, grossed an additional $ 15 million.
In contrast, the Sanders campaign raised nearly $ 1 million entertainment industry donors until March 31, according to campaign finance records. The senator from Vermont, which he called "obscene" the price for the Clooney event is not associated with a Super PAC and says he seeks to attract wealthy donors.
All Republicans together the presidential candidates raised $ 460,000, about 5 percent of the entertainment industry donations, the data showed.
Clinton's support in Hollywood has to do with the strong ties that her husband graduated from his first presidential campaign in 1992, said Donna Bojarsky, consultant of the Democrats, who served as the Clinton campaign coordinator.
Bill Clinton has deep connections to Hollywood, she said, partly because "he showed a real respect and recognition by pop culture. He followed and enjoyed. "
Another reason for the success of Hillary in Hollywood is the support of executives. At the same time the business on the local people can be liberal, they are less likely to support a candidate attacking corporations, said Ross historian. Sanders describes himself as a democratic socialist who wants higher taxes and want rich people and corporations helping to pay for education, health and other programs.
"Hollywood is corporate business and results," Ross said.
