Bunyadi: the idea of the restaurant is to create a more natural environment possible
São Paulo - A restaurant in London to be opened in June drew the world's attention for his rather unusual proposal: to allow customers to take their clothes for dinner. Ie that they are peeled while enjoying the meal.
Called Bunyadi, the idea is to create a more natural environment possible, with lighting candles, bamboo walls, cutlery and edible dishes and foods that are prepared without the use of industrial products such as dyes or preservatives.
Undressing, however, it will be a customer choice, not a requirement and some rules were established so that nothing gets out of hand. Taking pictures in the establishment, for example, it is strictly prohibited.
Besides the customers, waiters will also work with the least possible clothing. Already the cooks will have to use clothing for security reasons.
In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Seb Lyall, who conceived the project, he said it is a liberating experience one so much and need to sound as natural.
"When you go to sleep, you take the clothes. When you go to the beach or a sauna, too. It's something natural," he said.
To prevent any kind of contamination, the idea is that customers who choose to dine feel naked on top of her clothes. Closets and a dressing room are also available on site.
If you found the proposal somewhat surreal, know that there is already a waiting list of more than 16,000 people wanting to live the experience. The values of the dishes are around $ 90, regardless of the client dinner with or without clothes.
