Capcom announces "Umbrella Corps" at the Tokyo Game Show

New title in the Resident Evil franchise will create online contests between teams of players




"Umbrella Corps" should be launched in early 2016



During the event's press conference Tokyo Game Show, which took place between the last days 17:21 in Japan, Capcom released its newest title: "Umbrella Corps" is a competitive multiplayer shooter that takes place in Resident Evil scenarios.

Even as a spin-off, the story behind the game is set after the end of the Umbrella Corporation, and many companies that have managed to get their hands on their viruses and biological weapons have created a sort of training program where team fighting team and still faces zombies and other bizarre creatures along the way.


"Umbrella Corps" is expected to launch in early 2016 only to Playstation 4 and PC. According to the company, there are no plans for a version for Xbox One.
