As Hollywood explains Wall Street

The business world is a recurring in Hollywood. Often portrayed in a cruel way, Wall Street came roaring back on the big screen with the hit "The Big Bet" (2015), Adam McKay, nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. The drama tells the inside story of the US housing market crisis in 2008, which affected the rest of the world.

The film is far from the first to deal with the world of money behind the scenes. "Changing the Balls" (1983), "Wall Street" (1987) and "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013) are good examples of how Hollywood can explain what happens on Wall Street.
