"Lula will not govern in the place of Dilma, as she is headstrong," says minister

Marco Aurélio Mello says Lula be called as a "lifeline" would not in itself a function of deviation of purpose, as alleged injunction suspending the appointment

Minister Marco Aurelio Mello said late this Monday (4), in an interview that President Dilma Rousseff, by his genius, would not let former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva rule in her place, either as Minister of Home civil or as informal government articulator, as has been operating.

"It will not be," he said about Lula is a president in practice behind Dilma. "At the very genius President of the Republic, he is said to be very headstrong and does not even hear the aides that surround it."

To the minister, Lula be called as a "lifeline" of the government and the PT, as classified earlier, would not in itself a function of deviation of purpose, as claimed by the injunction today suspends Lula's appointment as minister.

Mello did not directly answer whether, in his view, Lula was trying to get away from Sergio Moro, in the first instance, through the privileged forum as a minister. But hinted that considers the unlikely hypothesis. The Minister inferred that one could not assume that Lula would seek for themselves the forum and leave his wife, Marisa Leticia, and the son Lulinha under the Moro stick. "Does he seek the court to save his own skin and leave his wife and son under Sergio Moro stick. It would not be the expected position of the average man."

"I can not presume the exceptional, that Lula has sought the appointment not to be under the jurisdiction of Sergio Moro," he added.

Bargain

In its participation in the Roda Viva, TV Cultura, Mello said not to be "reasonable" political bargaining that has taken place at the Presidential Palace to avoid impeachment, but said, "unfortunately", "is the Brazilian political reality."

"The executive search base because it was abandoned by the PMDB, although the PMDB occupies the vice presidênca, but we know that is the Brazilian reality, pitifully. I do not agree with the exchange of favors, with the linear appointment to have support in Congress . It should not be like that, but Brazilian politics has a certain reality "

early election

Asked briefly about the possibility of an early election in Brazil, as suggested by PEC by Senator Valdir Raupp (PMDB-RR), Marco Aurélio Mello said the proposal would be contrary to "constitutional principles". "This amendment, start, do not know the technical concept because I have not seen the proposal, but would prove contrary to constitutional principles," he said. To the minister, the only way to have a new election before 2018 would be the "collective resignation" Dilma Rousseff and Michel Temer, which considers something "unreal" given the Brazilian political culture.

Barroso

The minister commented briefly speech controversy colleague of Supreme Luis Roberto Barroso, who was heard in conversation with students, not knowing he was being recorded, saying "My God, this is our alternative power" in relation to the PMDB.

Marco Aurélio Mello went on Barroso defense. "He said this, of course, in an academic environment, expressed his feeling as a citizen," he said Mello and said that, in his view, does not compromise Barroso's performance in future decisions arising from Lava jet.
