Contact lens: device would also be able to capture images

Technological advances can create many alternatives to our routine, even change some behaviors of humans. This is the case of robots already perform household chores with perfection and even the so-called augmented reality.

Some of these inventions of technology come to be frightening as advanced. A contact lens with a camera, for example, is something that a few years ago could easily be part of a science fiction script. For Samsung, however, this idea is perfectly plausible and is part of their plans for the near future.

It is indicating a patent for a contact lens design with built-in cameras recorded by the giant in South Korea. A sort of "Google Advanced Glass", the object would cause the information to be projected directly into the eyes of users.

The device would also be able to capture images and transfer them to other devices that are connected, such as a notebook or a tablet.

The registration of the patent took place in 2014, the same year that Google has patented its smart contact lenses that measure the level of sugar in diabetic people. Nevertheless, there is no confirmation that the company was indeed working to make the actual product.

If this happens, it would be a milestone in the wearable technology sector, called the devices "wearable".
