Simone Biles gymnast wins fourth gold and equals record
Rio de Janeiro - The gymnast Simone Biles showed off his powerful movements and explosive jumps in the soil to equal the Olympic record by securing the fourth gold medal in a single edition of the Games on Tuesday.
One day after a hesitant performance on the beam end the hopes of the Americans to leave Rio with a record five gold medals for a gymnast, she returned to form to win the title of the land, with 15,966 points.
Aly Raisman completed the domestic double for the United States to get 15,500 points, while Britain Amy Tinkler burst into tears after an introduction to the sound of Kenny G version of the song "Oh, Pretty Woman," which earned him the bronze.
Simone, 19, champion by teams, solo, jumping and all-around, was the first woman in 32 years and fifth in total to win four golds in a single Olympics.
