The United States will release 15 prisoners from Guantanamo military prison (Cuba), open facility after the attacks of September 11 to arrest the inmates of the "war against terrorism" waged by President George W. Bush - said the NGO Amnesty International, on Monday (15).
If the release is confirmed, the number of inmates in this prison unit will drop to 61.
Since 2009, when he reached the White House, President Barack Obama promises to close the site. The Pentagon has not commented on Amnesty's information.
