Zanetti rival falls into wrong jump, breaking the leg and is fixed

French gymnast Samir Ait Said, one of the main rivals of Brazil's Arthur Zanetti suffered a bad fall on the heel unit on the horse had to leave property. By fall, his left leg was crooked, making it clear that the bone broke.

The accident occurred in the second rotation of the male artistic gymnastics on Saturday afternoon (6), in the Olympic Arena. At Castor, the French team was in the jump player on the horse.

The head of the French mission at the gym, Corinne moustard-Carlon, said Samir is in the hospital and did not know what the severity of his injury. Only I was sure that his tibia had been hit in the fall. He had suffered injury in another tibia earlier.

"He committed a technical error. He's a doctor now. We'll give news when we have. We do not know what it is. We'll do more tests to see if it was just the bone. He hurt the other leg in London. It is very hard for the team, but we congratulate them to continue, "Corinne said.

She admitted that ended the chances of medal for the French team. Now, only individual titles. Samir could fight for medal in the rings against Arthur Zanetti.

Already the French gymnast Cyril Tommasone recognized the shaking on the French team. "It's very, very difficult. But we have to keep competing for him and for us." Corinne added that Samir was one of the friendliest in the team, and expressed regret that for the second time one accident took Olympics.
