Stamp honors 90th anniversary of the saint's mother Stella Oxóssi
The Palmares Cultural Foundation (FCP) launches this Tuesday (15) at 15.30, postage stamps and stamp in honor of the 90th anniversary of the ialorixá Mother Stella Oxóssi, one of the most important national references to the religions of African origin. The launch of the stamp and seal is part of a series of government actions against religious intolerance, due to various acts of crimes that have been committed against the followers of religions of African origin in Brazil. Initiative has a partnership with the Post Office.
At the time, yet will be announced the names of members of the Board of Trustees of Palmares, which will be part of Mother Stella. The ceremony will be in the yard Ile Axe Opo Afonjá in Salvador (BA). The event will be attended by the president of FCP, Cida Abreu, and other authorities.

About honored
Born Maria Stella de Azevedo Santos, on May 2, 1925, in Salvador, it was initiated in the religion of the orishas to 14 years by Lady Mother, making it ialorixá to 49 years old.
