The lunar eclipse that happened on Rock City was completely overshadowed when Katy Perry entered the World Stage, closing the 2015 edition of the Rock In Rio on Sunday evening (27). And yet it gave five minutes of fame to Rayane young of Rio de Janeiro who took the stage the singer's invitation and turned into "Rayayaya".
Katy returned to the festival, where he performed in 2011, with its own light, flickering neon colors, jumping rope and changing costumes in grandiose acts. To make up the voice even out of tune at times, the singer makes his new tour, "Prismatic Tour", a big circus, more modern than the previous one, but still minutely choreographed.
Had mechanical horse articulated in "Dark Horse", dancers dressed as cats sapateavam in "Hot N Cold", and inflatable emojis in the audience in "This Is How We Do". Everything is very pop, and, as they say, "trend". Knowing this, she even parades in feline version singing "Vogue" by Madonna.
Even when choosing a fan to go on stage, Katy followed the same joke that made the show in Sao Paulo yesterday. He asked the Rayane fan as he spoke "pizza" and "selfie" in Portuguese. While the fan took advantage to kiss the neck diva, the singer was free to try to talk the girl's name, "Rayayaya".
With great allegories on stage, presenting the singer, however, was almost childlike and sweet. Unlike competitor --and amiga-- Rihanna, who closed the night before, there is not much room for sensuality, even when singing "I Kissed a Girl".
Katy opened the show with "Roar" great success of his latest album, "Prism" (2013), and as the chorus roar, came a wave of screaming children and adolescents. It was the day that small invaded the City of Rock. Parents spared the vocal cords, but jumped at the same intensity. "Everyone who claims to be music lover should learn from you. You have something really special," Katy pleased.
The audience, Paula Neves, 31, jumped along with the goddaughter Maria Fernanda, 14. "It's all perfect, colorful. I loved the part of the horse in 'Dark Horse'. She is friendly and does not like. It is herself," he defended the newest.
