Marijuana can make you poorer than their parents, says study

Marijuana: study points to a relationship between persistent cannabis use and low wages and signs of depression

By showing the medicine so far, marijuana remains as a less harmful drug to health that many legal substances.

We followed without overdose records by drug use. And yes, it is 144 times safer than alcohol and with less potential added.

But none of this means that marijuana is completely harmless. A study conducted jointly by researchers at the University of California and Duke University points to a relationship between persistent cannabis use and low wages and signs of depression.

The study published in Clinical Psychological Science, on March 23, points out that people who users who smoked four marijuana or more days a week regularly end up in lower social classes than their parents, with lower wages and less training compared to those who do not makes regular use of the drug.

"Cannabis can be safer than alcohol for health, but not for finances," says Terrie Moffitt, psychologist at Duke University.

For the research, 1,037 volunteers were accompanied by children up to 38 years. Those addicted to alcohol and marijuana have declines in social status, antisocial behavior at work and relationship problems. It turns out, according to the new study, marijuana addicts are major problems to keep the bills on time.


According to researchers, 18% of participants were considered dependent and 15% belonged as regular drug users.
