James Cameron portrays Trump as "crazy" in short; Look

Donald Trump

São Paulo - The director of Titanic and Avatar, James Cameron, is an environmental activist long time, and in recent years has produced some short documentaries about the ecological ills that plague the world. His most recent production was displayed during the Democratic convention in the United States this week.

The film "Not Reality TV" shows the human and material damage caused by floods, hurricanes and extreme droughts around the world, and it's all narrated by actress Sigourney Weaver, Alien star.

"We made this film to show the reality of climate change and how it affects the lives of thousands of people," Cameron said before the screening of the short. He spared no criticism of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who does not believe in climate change.

"A crazy" and "incredibly reckless, extremely dangerous," Cameron said, referring to Trump's claim that he would tear the climate agreement Paris, where countries undertake to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases, climate villains .

The film brings Republican candidate scenes saying that "global warming is a farce" and that "it would be good that the world warmed because it is very cold." Much of the noise created by climate skeptics, like Trump, comes from confusion between the concept of time and climate: contrary to what may seem, cold weather does not contradict climate change.

The platform of the Democratic Party, on the other hand, promises that in the first 100 days of the Clinton administration, the President will hold a summit meeting of engineers, climate scientists, experts, activists and indigenous communities to draw up a battle plan against changes climate.

"The rapid rise in sea level threatens coastal communities and causes migrations in the world, and extreme events such as fires and hurricanes are increasingly out of control as the global temperature rises. To save our planet we need to mobilize like we did in the Second World war, as the threat to our country and our children is serious, "warned Cameron.
