Hillary casinos use bankruptcy to attack Trump

Hillary Clinton

Atlantic City - The likely candidate for the US presidency by the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, visited the famous boardwalk in Atlantic City on Wednesday to highlight the failure of the casino business rival Donald Trump, warning that he could bring the same type of unsuccessful approach to the US economy.

Clinton, speaking near the now vandalized casino Trump Plaza, Trump once belonged to, said the real estate mogul routinely profited from the financial ruin of thousands of workers in this tourist town whose economy is now fragile.

"The people whom he is trying to convince to vote for him are the same that he has explored for years -People working," Clinton said.

Clinton said Trump's bankruptcy in the segment of casinos and complaints against him for service providers show that the Republican candidate does not deserve trust to establish economic policies if the White House.

"It makes exaggerated claims and says that if people trust him, he will deliver results," she said. "Then everything falls down the drain, people get hurt, and Donald wins."

Trump Plaza was one of four casinos that Trump has had in Atlantic City. He left his business in the city after its last bankruptcy filing.

Hillary often criticizes the Trump history as an entrepreneur in order to illustrate a point of his campaign -from the wealthy New York businessman is only interested in boosting their profits, not concerned about the economic difficulties of American workers.

"He intentionally raised hundreds of millions in debt on their companies, lent at high rates, failed to pay the loans, and eventually declared bankruptcy of their companies, not once, not twice, but four times," she said.

"He always handled the business for it to be paid, regardless of how many people lost their jobs." Hillary recalled his supporters who gathered on the sidewalk under a strong sun that Trump had promised to "make the country what I did for my business ".
