Obama says he will support Germany after shooting in Munich
US President Barack Obama promised on Friday, helping Germany. The message was sent shortly after the news about the shootings in Munich.
Obama, who spoke at a meeting with law enforcement officials said he had been informed about the drama in Germany, where at least six people were killed in a shootout in a shopping center in Munich.
"Our hearts go out to those who may have been injured. The situation is still going on, and Germany is of one of our closest allies. So pledge to give all the support they may need to deal with these circumstances," he said he.
At the State Department, spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau said US authorities are working with local authorities to determine whether US citizens were affected by the incident.
