Wikileaks claims to have nearly 20,000 Democrats emails
Washington - The Wikileaks website has nearly 20,000 emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and claims to have disclosed information about the virtual Democratic candidate strategy the White House, Hillary Clinton, to beat the rival in the primaries, Bernie Sanders.
The publication of e-mails took place on Friday, but the political consequences began to be felt on Saturday with attacks such as the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
"The leaked emails show DNC plans to destroy Bernie Sanders. They mock his heritage and more. Defrauded," said the mogul in his account on the social network Twitter.
The publication of the Wikileaks shows the known tensions between the old guard of the Democratic Party and the Sanders Senate campaign, which during the primary accused the Democratic National Committee to favor Hillary Clinton, although now support the former secretary of state to join forces against Trump.
Created by journalist and activist Julian Assange, Wikileaks announced on Friday by Twitter to publish 19,252 e-mails, among which there are 8,034 with senior officials of the Democratic National Committee files, the agency that runs the party.
The leak affects seven great names of the Democratic Party, so that among the 19,252 emails, 10,770 are communications director messages from the Democratic Party, Luis Miranda, and 3,797 financial director at the national Democrats, Jordon Kaplan.
The publication also includes 3,095 e-mails from the chief of staff of the finance department, Scott Eating, and 1,472 head of data messages and strategic initiatives, Daniel Parrish, among other officials.
Among the reported figure messages, for example, a sent on 5 May to the communications director for the Democratic Party, Luis Miranda, in which the employee Brad Marshall finance suggests investigating Sanders Senator faith, who is Jewish - though little religious - and of Polish origins.
"Do you believe in God? I think he ventured to say that he has Jewish heritage. I think I read that it is an atheist. This may represent a difference of several points with my staff. My staff is Southern Baptist, for which there is a big difference between a Jew and an atheist, "says Brad Marshall in a message.
The publication of these emails arrive a few days of the Philadelphia Democratic National Convention in Pennsylvania, which will be held between 25 and 28 this month and in which Hillary Clinton should be chosen as the Democratic candidate for the November elections.
On the first day of the convention, Sanders should speak with the first lady, Michelle Obama. As reported last week the organization of the convention, the speeches of Michelle Obama and Sanders will focus on the discussion of how to build an economy that works for the majority of the population, and not only to the wealthy few, the idea on which the senator built his campaign in the primaries.
