Russian girl surprised doctors by surviving with heart outside chest

Dear readers, I ask all who read this article very carefully and to forward to the largest possible number of colleagues and friends, neighbors, at work and mainly we humans, we can stop and think, "What are we doing with my life and complaining so much? why do not value us the way we are and why not help who really need?

Dear readers, we can make a better world, even if it is "a drop in the ocean"

Claudio Manani.

Come Saviya when her daughter came into the world, doctors told Dari Borun the girl hardly survive.
Little was born with the heart outside the chest cavity and intestines out of the abdomen.

"In addition to the heart and intestines, it was not part of the abdominal muscles, had no diaphragm and no part of the breast bone"

The child has a rare disease known as Pentalogy of Cantrell - affecting 5.5 babies per million births - where the vital organs develop outside the corresponding parts in the healthy body.

The severity of the disorder varies from case to case.

"(She) also was born with transposition of the veins of the lungs, which means that these veins are very large and produce a coronary hypertension."

"In the ultrasound and x-rays (veins) seem Globes. And it should not be like that," said Dari Borun.
"When he was four months, she underwent surgery to fix the problems but unfortunately no success," adds the mother.

You can see the heart of Vir Saviya, who is now six years and a half out of the chest, covered by a thin layer of skin.
As it does not have adequate protection, any slight bump or fall can cause significant damage.

A cold or a fever can also produce a shock that requires immediate medical attention.

Russia to the US

Warsaw and David are the city of Novorossiysk, in southwestern Russia.

They arrived in Boston in the United States, about nine months. And then went to South Florida, where they intend to live permanently.

"We came initially to Boston because the Russian doctors said they could not operate Virsaviya because of their hypertension," says Borun.

"They said it would be too risky for her and that the probability of her death would be almost 100%," says the mother of 26 years.

"I had ordered the tests and pictures of Virsaviya to many doctors in many countries and only Children's Hospital of Boston agreed to see her."

After almost two weeks under the supervision of hospital staff, the conclusion was the same: the risk of operating Virsaviya is very high due to high pressure of his pulmonary artery.

The doctors told her mother that the girl could have a good quality of life if he continued taking the medication and live in a warm place.

'Once in eight months'

In about eight months they are living in Florida, the number of times I had to go to the emergency fell significantly.

"In Russia we had to go to hospital more often because it is very cold, there's only three months in the summer heat. Here we were only once in eight months," Borun BBC World.

It refers to a recent episode, when the girl had to go to the hospital after a bad cold.

"I was in shock, coughing hard and having trouble breathing and I was really scared, so I took her to the hospital," says the mother.

"I know it's very expensive. In the Children's Hospital Joe DiMaggio told me they will send me the bill, which will include three or four exams she did, but still do not know how much will I have to pay," she said, which is still trying to solve their immigration status in the US.

"Unfortunately, not Varsivaya nor I have medical insurance. Nor do we have social security number or a house ours, a fixed address. For now we are staying with friends."

But Borum account that recently submitted an application for asylum to be able to stay in Florida.

"She is proud of her heart. Sometimes I wonder why it is not like the others, why no one has the heart as well. And I can not fully answer these questions, but I say that God made her special and unique," says Borun.

"I know because I have the heart of the outside. It's because Jesus wants to demonstrate that it can do special things like me," Virsaviya recently said in an interview with Telemundo channel 51.
