Abdul Qadir Azizi has no identity document proving their age
This man who claims to have 110 years of age has filed an application for asylum in Germany after an exhausting journey of eight months on the run from his country, Afghanistan. The information is from The Telegraph.
It is believed that Abdul Qadir Azizi may be the oldest refugee arriving in Germany in recent months, amid intense immigration crisis in Europe. Recently, the country announced that it expects to receive 800 000 asylum applications until the end of the year.
Despite his age who claims to have, Azizi did not carry any identity document proving the data. He and his family say that man was born on 1 January 1905.
The man, who is deaf and blind, spent a month traveling the Afghan town of Baghlan to Germany. Along the way, he had to be carried by men in the family, he said the daughter of Azizi. Spokesman of the German federal police, Werner Straubinger told reporters that the exact age of the refugee is not so relevant.

Also according to information from The Telegraph, Azizi and his family fled Afghanistan after three children of men were murdered by the Taliban. The city in which he lived, Baghlan, is about 160 km south of Kunduz, Afghan forces are struggling to recapture the extremist group.
In total, nine family members, including four different generations, made the trip to Germany. They crossed the border with Austria and were taken to a refugee center near the town of Deggendorf. They should be transferred soon to a shelter in Hesse, in central Germany.
