Qatar Airways has been voted the world's best airline by Skytrax consultancy in 2015, responsible for the World Airline Awards.
The award, considered the "Aviation Oscar", was delivered to the Qatari flag carrier, winning for the third time in five years, on Tuesday, 16, in Paris. The company offers luxury services to 140 destinations around the world.
The ranking this year was based on the opinion of over 18 million 160 nationalities passengers, comprising more than 40 aspects related to quality of services, such as check-in process, comfort aircraft, meals and entertainment offered on board. In the evaluations were judged 275 companies.
In addition to being awarded as the best airline in Asia, Singapore Airlines secured the Second Prize, followed by Cathay Pacific, considered the world's best in 2014.
Brazilian
None of the Brazilian airline company appears in the list of the top 10. The best placed in 49th place, has Avianca. Although he lost two positions, Avianca was named the best airline in Central America and the Caribbean.
TAM was ranked 51 and in relation to 2014, dropped nine positions. The Blue rose one place, jumped to 62nd place and was also considered the company with lower costs in South America. GOL, in turn, was not ranked among the top 100 in the world.
