At the Tokyo Motor Show 2015 which starts tomorrow, Toyoda Gosei the company will present a concept car designed for the streets of year 2030. The unusual prototype, which you can see in the image that opens this matter, is called Flesby and is equipped with airbags outside to prevent damage to the vehicle in the event of a collision.
The company, which is partly owned by Toyota, believes that the future of cars is not just for models that may go alone, as projects currently developed by giants like Google, Nissan, Honda and others. So the Flesby, which is small to compensate for the amount of cars that supposedly will be in circulation in 15 years, will also feature other innovative technologies to make the experience of the driver the best possible.
Toyoda Gosei A is known for developing plastics technologies, vehicle security and LED. This knowledge was applied to the prototype in the form of external airbags and Signal Cockpit Link system, which uses LEDs to create an internal picture based on the levels of illumination and external visibility of the vehicle. In addition, internal sensors detect the mood and attitude of the driver, changing the music and the levels of the lights inside the cabin.
Another attraction of the company's stand at the event to be held in the Japanese capital will be a crash simulator to demonstrate how the system works external airbags. A "skeleton" of Flesby will also be exposed to the curious and enthusiasts understand exactly how each part of the car was designed. The event will take place between October 28 and November 8.
