Islamic State assumes authorship of attacks in France

The Islamic State published on Saturday (14) a statement that claimed responsibility for the series of attacks that left 127 dead in Paris on Friday.

In the statement, the jihadist group says France is the "main target" group.

"Eight brothers carrying suicide vests and automatic weapons targeted areas in the heart of the French capital that have been specifically chosen before: the Stade de France during a match against
Germany in which the asshole François Hollande would be present, the Bataclan, where hundreds of idolaters would be together a party of wickedness, in addition to other targets on the 10th, the 11th and 18th arrondissements ", the statement said.

"France and all those who follow his way should know that remain the main target of the Islamic state."

"Allah (...) launched terror against his heart," says the group, which called Paris "the capital of wickedness and perversion." "Paris shook beneath his feet [the terrorists]."

The note ends with a warning that "this is nothing more than the beginning of a storm and a warning for those who want to meditate and draw their conclusions."

On Twitter, the Al-Hayat Media Centre, attached to the Islamic state, had posted a video in which the jihadist group called for attacks against France. The video is undated and its veracity could not be confirmed.

In the recording, a militant says that France "will not live in peace until the bombings continue." "You will be afraid to go to market," he says yet.
The EI spoke just minutes after French President Francois Hollande, has assigned responsibility for the attacks the group.

"It's an act of war that was committed by a terrorist army, one jihadist army, Daesh against France", Hollande said, using the acronym in Arabic for the Islamic State. "It's an act of war that was prepared, organized and planned abroad, with complicity from within France."

Hollande has promised a "crushing" response to acts of terror and declared three days of national mourning.
