Obama calls attacks in Paris outrageous and offers assistance to France




The US president, Barack Obama, said the attacks late on Friday (13) in Paris are "outrageous" and said the country is ready to provide any assistance that France need to respond to terrorist attacks . The remarks came in a speech at the White House.

At least three shootings happened in the French capital. According to the police, there are dozens of dead and wounded. Police also reported at least two explosions near the stadium Stade de France, where French President Francois Hollande, accompanied a friendly French selection.

Obama also said that the actions are "attacks the whole of humanity" and recalled the attacks of September 11, 2001 to say that Americans know how the French are feeling. The president also said that did not call for the French president after the attacks because they think he is too busy right now.

As there was a situation in progress during the pronuciamento, he said he would not "speculate" who is responsible for these actions.
