An alligator was found wandering outside a shopping center in the Houston area, in the US state of Texas. Nicknamed Godzilla, the animal weighed more than 362 kg and was discovered on Saturday by Sugar Land mall officials.
Christy Kroboth, which has the state permission to capture crocodiles, was called to help rescue Godzilla. According to expert, Godzilla is blind in one eye and has impaired vision in the other.
Once the reptile was gagged and imprisoned, a crane put him in a truck. He was taken to a special reserve where live going forward.
According to Christy, the animal would have about 50 years and would be the largest ever caught in Texas. "It should only see shadows and figures, then it probably got lost and ended up in the parking lot," she said. "I was scared and needed help."
