Hillary and Trump: candidates for the elections in the United States share historical rejection in the United States.

Washington - The presumptive Republican candidate for president of the United States, Donald Trump, and his possible Democratic rival Hillary Clinton were tied with a historic unpopularity in a survey released on Sunday, prepared by "The Washington Post" and "ABC News" station.

This was the first time in the survey history that the two likely candidates of the two main parties in the country has such a high rejection among Americans, a trend confirmed by other recent surveys in the country.

Almost six out of ten voters say they have a negative impression of Trump and Clinton, who are tied with 57% disapproval. In addition, 46% of respondents reject "strongly" the entrepreneur, while 45% feel the same by former Secretary of State.

The Post-ABC survey was conducted between 16 and 19 May with 829 registered voters and has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.

If confirmed as Republican indicated, Trump will be the presidential candidate of the country with the highest failure rate in history, between 60% and 70%, according to the latest data from the Gallup Institute.

That should be enough for Clinton to win quietly in November, but the former first lady also has high rejection rates of about 50%, also according to Gallup.

Since March 4, Trump has no rivals in the Republican primaries, so it became the virtual to the White House party candidate. On the other hand, Hillary follows battling Senator Bernie Sanders, despite leading the Democratic race.

In an interview with "ABC News" today, Sanders said vote for his opponent or Trump would "choose the lesser of two evils."

"We need elections that do not have two candidates who are actually very unpopular. I do not want the American people voting for the lesser of two evils," said the senator.
