"The recipe for our line of edible glaze is designed to keep the flavor and has a shiny coat. The idea of the campaign is to be thought-provoking and entertaining and increase the excitement around the brand in Hong Kong," said Creative Director the agency, John Koay.
Clearly, at least for now, the brand will not play the game to the market. Still, all product design and careful communication makes everything look the glaze will actually be released "real".
Apart from one song to the novelty, KFC also launched a campaign to invite the public in Hong Kong to choose your flavors.
