Moscow - Russia and the United States agreed to pass the exchange of information to coordinate its actions in the fight against terrorism in Syria, guaranteed on Tuesday the Minister of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"We agree with our American colleagues, overcoming their reservations and even opposition, to pass the exchange of information to the coordination of actions in the fight against terrorism. The concrete plan is being studied now by our ministry of defense," Lavrov told the Russian press in Tashkent.
Moscow, added the holder of Russian diplomacy, is willing to coordinate with Washington a joint military operation to free the Syrian city of Al Raqqah, the terrorist group headquarters Islamic State (EI) in the Arab country.
The announcement was made after a party Kurdish Syrian Democratic Union spokesman told the Russian media that the operation is already stipulated and will begin soon.
"Al Raqqah is one of the anti-terrorist operation goals, the same as Mosul in Iraq. We are sure that can be released more quickly and effectively to our military (Russia and the US) to coordinate more advance their actions. Now there is a possibility that such coordination occurs, "Lavrov pointed out.
Aviation of the two countries and their allies, repressed, "should work in a synchronized and coordinated manner to help confront the terrorist."
Defense Minister of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, proposed to the United States together bombing the positions of jihadists in Syria from tomorrow, May 25.
At the same time, he warned that Moscow reserves the right to launch an offensive "unilateral" against the terrorist groups that do not abide by the truce in force in the Arab country since late February.
Russia is several weeks insisting that the rebel groups concentrated around Aleppo abandon these positions to allow the Syrian army can attack the jihadists in Syria's second city.
Washington, however, responded then with a categorical refusal of any military cooperation with Russia in Syria, after arguing that Moscow supports the Syrian President Bashar al Assad regime.
