The pre-candidate for the presidency of the United States, Donald Trump said on Sunday (22) that "in some cases, teachers should have guns in classrooms." Minutes before, he had said he did not advocate the use of photo of weapons in classrooms.

The statement, made during a telephone conversation with the television program "Fox & Friends" was derided by critics of the policy. The liberal ThinkProgress site posted that "Donald Trump wants weapons in classrooms but do not want guns in the classroom."

Trump tried to distinguish between allowing the use of weapons in schools across the board and grant permission to some teachers in certain cases. "I am not advocating firearms in classrooms," said Trump.

"But remember, in some cases, teachers should be allowed to have weapons in the classroom. Teachers should be trained this permission," he added.

The comments came in the wake of Trump's speech on Friday (20), the National Rifle Association, during which the presidential candidate said if elected will review the measures ordered by Obama to impose restrictions on the purchase of weapons .

Hillary Clinton, pre-candidate of the Democratic Party, rejected the claims of his rival. "On his first day in office, he would order that every school in the United States allow weapons in classrooms. This is not the way to keep us safer," he said.
