Brazil is the 2nd country with more advertisers on Instagram
São Paulo - The social network Instagram is today celebrating an important milestone. The social network reached the number of 500,000 advertisers around the world.
An interesting fact is that Brazil is among the top five ad markets in the social network at the moment. More than that, the country is second only to the United States, which ranks first. The top five also includes the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. Note that Brazil is the only country of non-English language in this list.
The network also announced the five topics on which more is announced: consumer goods, e-commerce, retail, entertainment and technology. Vertical (name the company uses for these categories) of each country are not disclosed.
Jim Squires, director of market operations Instagram, credits part of the success to new possibilities that social networking has given professional profiles. One, very important, it is the popularization of business profiles.
According to Squires, the goal is to continue working in the way users interact with the ads on the platform. There are no plans to insert publications pay Instagram Stories-format inspired by the Snapchat competitor.
