Donald Trump na Flórida, dia 24/08/2016

Donald Trump returned to spark debate on immigration after the attacks that this weekend left several injured in the United States after his son sparked outrage on Twitter to compare the Syrian refugees with poisoned candy.

Immigration is an issue inseparable from fulminating political rise of the Republican candidate for the White House.

The vast majority of their constituents support his hard-line and research shows that most Republicans agree with the proposal to ban the entry of Muslims on American soil.

The applicant insists on the risk posed by the Syrian refugees, quotes infiltrations in Europe agents of the extremist group Islamic State and states that immigration officers know nothing about the past of those who come to the United States.

The eldest son of the candidate, Donald Trump Jr., caused an online storm after comparing the Syrian refugees with a pot full of common and mixed poisoned bullets.

"This picture says it all," said on Monday Donald Trump Jr, in a tweet in which showed the image of a white bowl filled with popular and colorful Skittles candy.

Above the picture he wrote: "If I had a skittles bowl and said only three of them could kill you you'd get a handful This is our problem with the Syrian refugees.?".

The publication on Twitter - showing the famous "Trump-Pence 2016" logo with the slogan of the presidential campaign "Make America Great Again!" - Immediately sparked controversy among users of the network.

The question is whether Americans will be convinced, especially the undecided when missing 49 days for the elections.

Immigration is far from being one of the concerns of Americans, according to a recent survey by CBS / New York Times.

But insecurity and terrorism rank as the second priority of voters. And Donald Trump tries to link immigration to these concerns.
