terrorist act?
The authorities said they have evidence to link the attacks in New York, New Jersey and Minnesota, but there is a suspicion that were acts of "terrorism", domestic or jihadist.
"An explosion in New York is obviously an act of terrorism, but is not linked to international terrorism," said Democratic state governor, Andrew Cuomo on Sunday as he ran the Chelsea neighborhood streets.
"In other words, we do not find a link with ISIS," added Cuomo in reference to the Islamic State (EI).
Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York City that from Monday receives heads of state and government from around the world to the UN General Assembly, was cautious: "We do not know the motivation, we do not know its nature not. we know if it was politically motivated or if it was a personal motivation. "

"References to Allah"
Fifteen years after the attacks of September 11, 2001, the authorities point out that the country is much safer to face terrorist plots planned abroad, but is vulnerable to attacks "lone wolves" inspired by the propaganda of EI or al-Qaeda .
In Minnesota, the FBI agent who coordinates the work of the security forces, Rick Thornton, said investigating acts as a "potential act of terrorism. But that rebound is potential. There are still many things we do not know."
Police confirmed that the attacker asked the victims were Muslim before stabbing them and made references to Allah.
